It was a beautiful evening in the city of Paris, the dazzling lights were shining brightly throughout the city to pierce through the darkness of the night. While the normal lights of Paris were glamorous enough, there was only one light that stood above all else, aiming to stab through the blanket of dark abyss and stars above. The Eiffel Tower stood proudly above the landscape of the French landmark. But something odd was in the atmosphere tonight, and odd feeling of aloofness. Something was going to go down tonight, though what would... Well, not even the culprit himself knew.
The culprit? Oh right, I forgot to mention the source of this off-kilter feeling.
A white haired gentleman sitting inside of the Eiffel tower. Not the legal bits, by god no, in the more adventurous portions of the tower. He was sitting on one of the metal rungs as he let his gray eyes scan the streets below. Having gotten a page from his recent client in how Soul needs to find an ancient artifact, but having no leads to go off of. This was going to be quite the slog, especially for how slow and methodical Soul had to be. No leads and only the faintest idea as to what he was looking for, the first kind of scoping out huge crowds in order to see if his fortune may favor him sooner rather than later.
Hidden inside the metal bars of the Eiffel Tower, and overshadowed by the golden radiance of the lights beaming from the tower, the red-and-black shirted man kept his gaze downward toward the clearing down below, where couples sat with one another and taking in the classic Paris night romance. People on their lonesome having their secluded talks with others through the clunky Nokia phones. And others... Well, doing whatever. Hopefully something interesting could catch his eyes.
Though, in the meantime, he was doing something quite odd with his hands, holding in his hand a single marble. Though rough, it seemed like the marble was spinning on top of his finger. A little trick that his current client had offered to teach him fully, only offering a meager lesson in just creating rotation from the slightest of touches just as a simple initial payment. And he would reveal the rest of the secrets for completing this current job of Arrow Retrieval. Quite entranced with such a technique, Soul made sure to get the first lesson down, to at least generate this rotation. And he even challenged himself to do it without watching it, his eyes glazing over the streets below.
